There’s something special about looking back on a month and realizing just how many meaningful conversations happened along the way. April brought powerful discussions, encouraging reminders, challenging topics, and moments that pushed us to grow both personally and spiritually.
From podcast episodes that unpacked difficult cultural conversations to blog posts about faithfulness, relationships, and intentional living, this month reflected so much of what The Few is all about. We hope these pieces encourage you, challenge you, and remind you that you’re not alone in pursuing a life that looks different from the world around you.
Think of this as your monthly reset! It’s a place to revisit what mattered, catch anything you missed, and pass along content to someone who needs encouragement, conviction, or a fresh perspective on their faith.
Without further ado, here are a few favorites from the month of April…

APRIL BLOG POSTS (OLDEST TO NEWEST)
GRACE WAS NEAR… BUT HE RETURNED TO THE TEMPLE (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/01/grace-was-near-but-he-returned-to-the-temple-passion-week-2026/
Excerpt: Judas, on the other hand, ran back to the Temple, to the Priests, to the old way of doing things, begging for forgiveness that they could not grant. “I have sinned, he said, for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us? they replied. That is your responsibility.” (Matthew 27: 4).
A RUNAWAY (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/02/a-runaway-passion-week-2026/
Excerpt: Standing there that night, listening to those words, I realized something I don’t want to forget… I am the runaway, absolutely. But I am also the one He is running toward.
GOOD FRIDAY? WHY? (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/03/good-friday-why-passion-week-2026/
Excerpt: The more I think about it, maybe Good Friday is perfectly appropriate for this day. Because without this Jesus thing, the bleed, suffer, die thing, there would be no Resurrection Sunday. No payment for sin that could restore our relationship with God. Nothing could be better than that.
THE SILENCE OF SATURDAY (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/04/the-silence-of-saturday-passion-week-2026/
Excerpt: Even in the silence, Heaven was writing a victory story. The man who had been beaten, killed, and buried behind a stone would not stay in the grave. Jesus rose, conquering sin, death, and every power of darkness. This is the promise hidden in Saturday, it always points to His victory.
THE LAST BROKEN THING (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/05/the-last-broken-thing-passion-week-2026/
Excerpt: Happy Easter Sunday! What a glorious week this has been! My one remaining hope for us is that we would praise the Lord for all that He did for us upon the cross with every last bit of thankfulness and love that we now have, only because of what Jesus has done.
A FEW FAVORITES FROM THE MONTH OF MARCH 2026: https://thefew.blog/2026/04/09/a-few-favorites-from-the-month-of-march-2026/
Excerpt: March always feels like the turning of a page, the quiet shift from winter’s stillness into the soft beginnings of spring. There’s something about longer days, fresh air, and the first signs of new life that invites us to slow down and notice what’s been meaningful, life-giving, and worth holding onto!
SPIRITUAL SPRING CLEANING (BUT NOT THE WAY YOU THINK): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/16/spiritual-spring-cleaning-but-not-the-way-you-think/
Excerpt: Somewhere in the middle of all of it, between moving things around, throwing things out, and realizing how much I had ignored, I started to notice how familiar this felt. Not just in my room, but in my life. Because the truth is, it’s a lot easier to let things pile up than it is to stop and deal with them.
FAITH ISN’T FEARLESS: https://thefew.blog/2026/04/23/faith-isnt-fearless-2/
Excerpt: One thing that has surprised me about myself is how frustrated I can become due to the fear, grief, or suffering I am experiencing. I had convinced my heart and mind that I shouldn’t give into feeling those things because faith doesn’t operate like that.

APRIL PODCAST EPISODES (OLDEST TO NEWEST)
You Celebrated The Resurrection… Now What? https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/you-celebrated-the-resurrection-now-what-s6ep64/
Episode Description: You felt something yesterday… but what changed today? Easter is full of powerful moments, but for a lot of us, the feeling fades fast. By Monday, we’re back to the same habits, the same mindset, and the same level of faith.
So what was the point?
In this episode, we’re getting honest about emotional highs that don’t last, faith that looks real online but feels empty in private, and why discipline, not just feelings, is what actually sustains your walk with God.
Because if Jesus really rose from the dead… your life shouldn’t stay the same. Let’s get into it!
Nobody In The Church Will Say This, So We Will: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/nobody-in-the-church-will-say-this-so-we-will-s6ep65/
Episode Description: What if the biggest issue in the Church isn’t what’s happening around us, but what’s happening within us? In this episode, we’re saying the things that often go unspoken. Not to tear the Church down, but because we care about it too much to stay silent. We talk about what it looks like to “play church” without real surrender, how lukewarm faith has quietly become normal, and why we’ve grown more comfortable talking about grace than actually walking in repentance.
This conversation is honest, personal, and probably a little uncomfortable, but it’s needed. Because real faith was never meant to be surface-level. And maybe the things we avoid saying are the things we most need to hear. Let’s get into it!
Nobody In The Church Wants To Say This… So We’re Still Saying It: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/nobody-in-the-church-wants-to-say-this%E2%80%A6-so-we-re-still-saying-it-s6ep66/
Episode Description: What if the reason we feel stuck in our faith is because we keep avoiding what’s uncomfortable?
In part two, we continue the conversation and get even more honest about the things we avoid talking about in the Church. From being shaped more by culture than Scripture, to avoiding hard conversations just to keep the peace, to building a version of faith that prioritizes comfort over transformation, we’re going there.
This isn’t about calling people out. It’s about calling us higher. Because if we really want to follow Jesus, we can’t keep ignoring the things that are quietly holding us back. Let’s get into it!
What Real Community Costs: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/what-real-community-costs-s6ep67/
Episode Description: Everyone says they want real community, but what does that actually require? In this episode, we’re talking about the side of community that doesn’t get talked about as much. Not just the support, the laughter, and the deep connection, but the cost. Because real, Christ-centered community doesn’t just happen. It requires vulnerability, consistency, honesty, humility… and sometimes discomfort.
We get into why so many of us struggle to experience deep relationships, what might be holding us back, and the ways we’ve personally had to grow in order to build the kind of community we say we want. This conversation is real, practical, and a little challenging. Because you can’t experience real community without being willing to pay the cost. Let’s get into it!
Discontentment Disguised As Ambition: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/discontentment-disguised-as-ambition-s6ep68/
Episode Description: Are you actually driven… or just not content? Ambition isn’t a bad thing, but sometimes what we call “drive” is really comparison, pressure, or dissatisfaction with where the Lord has us right now. In this episode, we’re getting honest about the subtle ways discontentment can hide behind goals, growth, and the constant desire for “what’s next.”
We talk about how comparison shapes our desires, why we struggle to be present in our current season, and how to tell the difference between healthy ambition and striving that leaves you restless. This conversation is real, reflective, and probably a little convicting. Because if you’re always chasing the next thing, you might be missing what God is doing right in front of you. Let’s get into it!
