It’s a pretty easy life if you live the way the world wants you to, isn’t it? If you hustle every day, if you chase after that next job promotion, if you hang with the “cool kids” at school and do all the “cool” things they do, then the world seems to praise us and put us on this kind of pedestal. This thought process has infiltrated the American Church.

Just a few American girls out here fighting to keep the great gift of freedom that the Lord has given us! 🇺🇸 In case you haven’t listened to our Podcast (A Few Minutes With The Few) as of late, Madie & I uploaded a BRAND NEW EP today sharing some of our absolute favorite books! 📚 Lots of them being some of our most loved American/history books too!

There’s nothing more annoying than a friend that didn’t ask you for help when they desperately needed it, and then they tell you all about their struggle later on. Anybody else relate? 👋🏻

Have you ever taken notice of the natural desire for honor that we have? 👑 Whether you have or not, it seems to consume us in more ways than I think we’d all like to admit. However, the desire for honor is something I believe is meant to bring us closer to Jesus (because He made us with it), yet we have confused its purpose, as we have with many other desires, and instead used it for our own glory...

As followers of Jesus, we have to be bolder than the culture we’re living in, and I think we all know that they have gotten VERY bold recently. 👀 We have to be deep in a world that is shallow if we want to see this generation saved & transformed by Jesus.

Too often I think we view Christianity as something “to do” instead of “to be”. It’s great to do what the Gospel says, I’m not discounting that. But think of how much better it would be if we were to actually build the Kingdom and follow Jesus’ example because that’s who we are? 👏🏻
