Happy Thursday, y’all! We’re doing a something a little different today. Instead of a typical blog post like we publish every Thursday, we are going to share some behind-the-scenes of our personal lives, along with some cool memories/moments from 2022, and finally what the beginning of 2023 has been like for us personally, as well as The Few!
Let’s start with an update about our lives and how the Lord is working on our hearts!
I (Lilly) am a freshman in Bible college, currently studying to earn a Biblical Studies degree. I’m finding such joy in teaching our Thursday evening Bible Studies for our group of teen girls that meet each week. It’s undoubtedly one of my favorite (and most busy) days of the week! This year, I am going through a daily C. S. Lewis devotional, along with reading the entire Bible for the second year. We will see how I fair with it being in college and all, but one of my personal goals for 2023 is to make my way through the Narnia series! Homemaking and hospitality are two of my greatest passions, and the Lord has/is revealing Himself in such wondrous ways to me as I embrace His peace in those areas of my life.
Hello everyone! For me (Madie), 2023 has already been a pretty busy year! I began two new CCP classes at the beginning of this month and have also been kept occupied with my homeschooling work. This year, I am working through a Bible reading plan which will allow me to read the entire Bible in a year. It’s something I’m already really enjoying. As far as free time activities go, y’all know reading is at the top of the list. This year, I’m taking a deep dive into American history through literature, and I couldn’t be more excited! The Few is keeping Lilly and I on our toes, and we’re really looking forward to creating some new things we know y’all are going to love!
As for The Few, we were so incredibly blessed by each and every one of you who read and shared our Blogmas posts in December! We published 32 blog posts total, from December 1st until January 1st. It was such a beautiful and meaningful time for our family, and I think it’s safe to say we look forward to Blogmas all year long. By the way, it’s never too late to go take a look at those posts if you missed some or didn’t get the chance to read any!
I’m quite sure you’ve noticed, but we are working hard to make the Blog more easily navigable for our readers and are thrilled to finally be implementing some of our ideas and thoughts! Absolutely everything we do can be accessed right from the Blog now!
Our Podcast, A Few Minutes With The Few, has grown tremendously and we are so thankful for the opportunity we have to share the Gospel with all who listen! I just checked our statistics this morning, and we are just 900 downloads away from hitting 10,000 downloads on the show. Praise the Lord! Three of our Bible Study members committed themselves to reading the Bible in 2022 as well, and I don’t believe we could be any prouder of them for doing so!
The old garage we turned into a Ministry Center is fully renovated, and we host multiple weekly meetings in that space. It has been such a blessing to our family and ministry, and we pray it is a space where people can tangibly feel that it is full of the presence of God and experience Him there.
Alight, I’m afraid I really must go now, I have a birthday party to prepare for which I am hosting tonight for Madie! Our friends/Bible Study members are coming over to celebrate and I have some cooking/baking to do.

I’m curious to know if you showed anything on the new garage space? I know there was a time you were remodeling but I’m not sure about if there was a reveal? Would be neat to see how you all worked it out. My husband and I have talked about having mini services at our house. Also you mentioned C.S. Lewis. Have you ever read his space trilogy? Just found out this existed and I am intrigued to read it!

We’ve shown some of it on IG in some different reels, but the final reveal will come when we start our YouTube channel! We have so much footage from the renovation, so we’re looking forward to sharing that! 🥳 I’ve never heard of Lewis’ space trilogy?! You’ll have to let me know if you like it!
