MANIPULATED MINDS (PART ONE)

(Post by: Lilly Hobbs)

Note: Intentional misspellings.

Compliance makes for an easy life. You don’t have to question every news headline you read. You don’t feel as if you’re responsible to make the truth known. It does not require you to stand up and speak up. If you comply, you get to follow along with the crowd. You are able to sleep at night. You’re even praised for it.

When I look at where our culture is currently, who the leaders are that the majority is obeying, and the American Church that is losing its zeal for its first love, all I can see are many manipulated minds.

Most “Christians” in America today do not know who they are or what they mean.

Church, because I love Jesus and know that His heart mourns the fact that we have forgotten Him and therefore lost our boldness to fight against evil bravely, I must remind you that true Christians are not cowards, and they do not put up with sin.

Revelation 21:8 says, “But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Does it not concern us that the first thing listed in that verse are the cowardly? Y’all, cowards are listed before the faithless are.

You understand that the enemy wants us to believe that we are inherently racist, right? He wants us to think that we are hypocrites, that we are unloving, that we are selfish, that we can’t make a difference. And because we don’t know who we are or what we mean, we believe all of it!

How sickening it is to watch Christians listen to and genuinely believe not only what the enemy says, but also the devout liars that he has specifically placed in this world to manipulate our minds. We lack discernment. We lack courage. We lack a passion for the truth to be revealed in the American Church.

Matthew 7:15-20 says, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits.”

I am frightened that many pastors and people in church leadership positions think that obeying mandates put in place by devout liars, murders, and people who want to be god is what we are called to as believers.

That is a lie straight from the enemy, and these people are not walking in the truth nor are they trustworthy. We are not being told the truth about most things (specifically the v a c c), and I cannot remain silent about the things that I now know. As one of our friends says, “I will not comply with a lie.”

I know that it’s hard to know where to start, but we must start somewhere. Part two of this post will be published within the next couple of days, and I will be sharing about a hidden lie that needs to come to light and that the Church cannot remain ignorant of.

“Those who do not move, do not notice their chains.”  (Unknown)

SO WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSE?

= Is your heart willing to hear and receive hard truth?

= What are you going to do differently?
