HOW TO SAY NO

We have just been so very encouraged by those of you who have read and shared The Statement and also by those of you who have listened to our latest Podcast episode “S a f e  &  E f f e c t i v e?”! Since we know that so many others are battling the same m a n d a t e s, we wanted to offer some advice on the very best things to include in a religious e x e m p t i o n  so that you can continue to fight for freedom.

Our family has talked to and messaged with so many people recently who have no clue what to say in their e x e m p t i o n request, and I think that this will be just what you need to give you a great foundation to start with if you are wondering the same thing! I asked our mom, Michelle Hobbs, who has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over twenty years to give us her best tips and pieces of advice.

This isn’t the first time she has had to fill one out, and I think she has some much-needed wisdom when it comes to this crucial problem we are all dealing with!

Advice regarding writing a letter to request religious e x e m p t i o n from the C O V I D vaxx and others. Note: Many intentional misspellings.

My first piece of advice is to keep your reasons for seeking a religious e x e m p t i o n personal. Concentrate on your personal relationship with God. Search the Scriptures and pray about your decision. State that you have done those very things, and the Lord has led you to your decision to decline the v a c c i n e. Do not try to argue doctrine or a specific denomination’s tenets. Do not argue “science”. For example, do not try to list statistics regarding v a c ci n a t e d people still contracting C O V I D or cite studies regarding the multitude of potential side effects and a d v e r s e reactions. While those things are absolutely true, they are not “religious” in nature and do not help your immediate cause. Stating something like, “I have prayerfully sought the Lord’s guidance regarding the C O V I D -1 9 v a c c I n a t i o n…” or “I have studied Scripture and found…” is much harder to deny than statistics and opinions.  Deuteronomy 8:6 tells us that we must observe the commands of the LORD my God, and walk in obedience to Him and revere Him. So, you must obey whatever the Lord has told you to do through prayer and scripture.

The primary issue with v a c c i n e s that should give all Christians pause is the use of aborted fetal tissue in their development and testing. The attenuated v i r u s es used to produce and test several v a c c i n e s  have been obtained from aborted fetuses or are cultivated on fetal tissue from an aborted baby.  A conflict arises because of our religious belief that all life is sacred. God’s commandment “Thou Shall Not Kill” applies to the practice of abortion. The acceptance of these v a c c i n e s promotes abortion and violates the Sixth Commandment of “Thou Shall Not Kill” (Exodus 20:13).  The Bible also teaches that children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3), not objects that may be electively aborted and then used for scientific purposes.

Finally, you should investigate the ingredients of the v a c c i n e and pray about whether that is something that God would want you to inject into your body, which He has fearfully and wonderfully made. You might say something like, “As a follower of Jesus, I am to present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is my true and proper worship (Romans 12:1).” You see, our bodies do not belong to us but were created in the very image of God (Genesis 1:27) and then bought with the greatest price, Jesus’ death and resurrection. “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have of God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body” (I Corinthians 6:19-20). Specifically list some of the ingredients that you find unacceptable to inject.
