A FEW FAVORITES FROM THE MONTH OF MARCH 2026

(Post by: Lilly Hobbs)

March always feels like the turning of a page, the quiet shift from winter’s stillness into the soft beginnings of spring. There’s something about longer days, fresh air, and the first signs of new life that invites us to slow down and notice what’s been meaningful, life-giving, and worth holding onto!

This past month was especially full for us. Walking through Passion Week together on the blog was such a sacred experience, and we are so grateful for each of you who showed up daily to read, reflect, and lean into the story of Jesus with us. It meant more than we can fully put into words to know that so many people were taking time to contemplate the death and resurrection of Christ!

As we step into a new month, we wanted to take a moment to look back and share a few of the things we loved most throughout March; the little favorites that brought joy, pointed us to truth, and helped us stay grounded in the midst of it all.

Think of this as your monthly reset! It’s a place to revisit what mattered, catch anything you missed, and pass along content to someone who needs encouragement, conviction, or a fresh perspective on their faith.

Without further ado, here are a few favorites from the month of March

MARCH BLOG POSTS (OLDEST TO NEWEST)

A FEW FAVORITES FROM THE MONTH OF FEBRARY 2026: https://thefew.blog/2026/03/05/a-few-favorites-from-the-month-of-february-2026/

Excerpt: Happy March! If February flew by for you, you’re not alone. Between new podcast episodes and fresh blog posts, we shared several pieces of content throughout the month, and we know it can be easy to miss something. From podcast episodes tackling important conversations in the Church to blog posts designed to encourage and challenge believers, we’re grateful for everything that came out this month!

THE HIDDEN DANGER OF “GOOD” SPIRITUAL HABITS: https://thefew.blog/2026/03/12/the-hidden-danger-of-good-spiritual-habits/

Excerpt: Spiritual disciplines are good, and they are absolutely necessary. They help anchor our lives in God’s Word and create space for Him to work. But the real question we should ask ourselves is this: Are our disciplines actually changing us? Are they confronting our pride? Are they exposing areas where we need repentance? Are they deepening our dependence on Jesus?

FAITH WITHOUT A CEILING: https://thefew.blog/2026/03/19/faith-without-a-ceiling-3/

Excerpt: There’s a story in Mark chapter two that never ceases to awaken and deepen a sense of true faith within my soul. No matter how many times I hear this story preached or how many times I read it for myself with my own eyes, I’m always left contemplating whether or not I have faith without a ceiling.

FOR THOSE WHO REFUSE TO RUSH EASTER: https://thefew.blog/2026/03/26/for-those-who-refuse-to-rush-easter/

Excerpt: Before we begin releasing new Passion Week posts starting on Palm Sunday, we wanted to give you the opportunity to revisit some of our past writings. These pieces have challenged us, shaped us, and helped us see Jesus more clearly, and our prayer is that they would do the same for you.

THE SUFFERING SERVANT (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/03/30/the-suffering-servant-passion-week-2026/

Excerpt: Long before the cross, Isaiah gives us a picture of the Messiah that doesn’t match what people expected. Not a conquering king. Not someone admired and celebrated. A suffering servant.

QUIETLY DECIDED (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/03/31/quietly-decided-passion-week-2026/

Excerpt: Now, I can see Matthew, sitting opposite Jesus, a campfire between them on their journey, and this encounter filling his thoughts. How could he see Jesus as anyone but the only person to defend his dignity? As the only one to know the dark truth of what Matthew had chosen and still offer him a seat at His Passover table.

GRACE WAS NEAR… BUT HE RETURNED TO THE TEMPLE (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/01/grace-was-near-but-he-returned-to-the-temple-passion-week-2026/

Excerpt: Judas, on the other hand, ran back to the Temple, to the Priests, to the old way of doing things, begging for forgiveness that they could not grant. “I have sinned, he said, for I have betrayed innocent blood.”  “What is that to us? they replied. That is your responsibility.” (Matthew 27: 4).

A RUNAWAY (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/02/a-runaway-passion-week-2026/

Excerpt: Standing there that night, listening to those words, I realized something I don’t want to forget… I am the runaway, absolutely. But I am also the one He is running toward.

GOOD FRIDAY? WHY? (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/03/good-friday-why-passion-week-2026/

Excerpt: The more I think about it, maybe Good Friday is perfectly appropriate for this day. Because without this Jesus thing, the bleed, suffer, die thing, there would be no Resurrection Sunday. No payment for sin that could restore our relationship with God. Nothing could be better than that.

THE SILENCE OF SATURDAY (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/04/the-silence-of-saturday-passion-week-2026/

Excerpt: Even in the silence, Heaven was writing a victory story. The man who had been beaten, killed, and buried behind a stone would not stay in the grave. Jesus rose, conquering sin, death, and every power of darkness. This is the promise hidden in Saturday, it always points to His victory.

THE LAST BROKEN THING (PASSION WEEK 2026): https://thefew.blog/2026/04/05/the-last-broken-thing-passion-week-2026/

Excerpt: Happy Easter Sunday! What a glorious week this has been! My one remaining hope for us is that we would praise the Lord for all that He did for us upon the cross with every last bit of thankfulness and love that we now have, only because of what Jesus has done.

MARCH PODCAST EPISODES (OLDEST TO NEWEST)

Assimilation Isn’t Oppression (Why A Shared American Identity Matters): https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/assimilation-isn-t-oppression-why-a-shared-american-identity-matters-s6ep57/

Episode Description: Is assimilation oppressive or is it essential? “Immigration without assimilation is invasion.” — Charlie Kirk

Some call it nationalism. Others call it wisdom. This week, we unpack what assimilation actually means and why shared language, shared values, and shared law matter for a nation’s survival. We’re not talking about ethnicity, we’re talking about unity. Is it loving to expect newcomers to adopt the values of the country they’re entering? Is assimilation biblical? Let’s think critically, not emotionally. Let’s get into it.

The Lent Debate: Should Christians Participate? https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/the-lent-debate-should-christians-participate-s6ep58/

Episode Description: Should Christians observe Lent today? Lent is meant to prepare believers for Easter through fasting, prayer, and repentance. But does the modern practice still accomplish that goal? In this episode we discuss the potential spiritual value of Lent, the dangers of performative religion, and how Christians can pursue genuine spiritual growth rather than empty tradition. Let’s get into it.

The Danger Of Confident Deception: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/the-danger-of-confident-deception-s6ep59/

Episode Description: What happens when deception sounds confident, persuasive, and authoritative? In this episode, we unpack the confusion many people are feeling surrounding statements from Candace Owens and the response from Erika Kirk. We talk about how influential voices can shape culture, for better or for worse, and why Christians must develop real discernment in an age of powerful personalities. How do we guard our minds, test what we hear, and stay anchored in biblical truth when cultural commentary becomes confusing? Let’s get into it.

We’ve Got Just The Thing To Make Your Easter PHENOMENAL: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/we-ve-got-just-the-thing-to-make-your-easter-phenomenal-s6ep60/

First Rapid-Fire Episode Of 2026: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/first-rapid-fire-episode-of-2026-s6ep61/

Episode Description: Are you ready for the first Rapid Fire episode of 2026? We sure are, which is exactly why we sat down with an entirely new set of secret questions to ask one another in an episode that jumps from one topic to the next! We’re talking all things freedom, overthinking, insecurities, and more. If you want an episode guaranteed to discuss at least one thing you’re interested in, you’ve come to the right place. Hit that play button and let’s get started!

When Clarity Feels Like A Curse: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/when-clarity-feels-like-a-curse-s6ep62/

Episode Description: What do you do when you see things clearly… but sometimes wish you didn’t? In this episode, we’re talking about the weight of discernment, the kind that opens your eyes to truth, but also isolates you, stretches you, and sometimes even grieves you. Because clarity isn’t always comforting. Sometimes it exposes what’s broken, reveals what others don’t see, and calls you to respond when it would be easier to stay silent. We’re diving into what it looks like to walk with God when clarity feels more like a burden than a blessing, and when you’re navigating relationships, church culture, and personal conviction with eyes that can’t “unsee” what God has shown you.

If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, overwhelmed by what you carry, or tempted to shrink back just to feel normal again… this conversation is for you. Clarity may feel heavy, but it’s never without purpose. Let’s get into it!

We Love The Resurrection… But Ignore The Cross: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/we-love-the-resurrection-but-ignore-the-cross-s6ep63/

Episode Description: What if the reason your faith feels shallow is because you’ve skipped the cross? We love celebrating the empty tomb, but we avoid what it took to get there. In this episode, we’re getting honest about a version of Christianity that wants resurrection power without crucifixion living. Because the truth is, a lot of us are drawn to the hope, the joy, and the victory of Easter… but we don’t sit in the weight of the cross. We don’t wrestle with the suffering, the surrender, or the cost of following Jesus.

The cross isn’t just something Jesus carried, it’s something He told us to carry too. We talk about what it really means to “take up your cross,” how we’ve turned sacrifice into a symbol instead of a lifestyle, and the ways we personally struggle to choose obedience over comfort. This isn’t a polished Easter message, it’s a reality check. Because if your faith doesn’t cost you anything, you have to ask… is it really faith?

This episode might challenge you. It might convict you. But more than anything, we hope it brings you back to the full weight and the full beauty of the Gospel. Let’s get into it!
