Charlie Kirk is dead. He was martyred for his faith; Assassinated because someone disagreed with him. Although Charlie is most certainly in glory, many are now mocking and ridiculing him for what he stood for. At a most critical point in history, a time when our country should come together over the death of a completely innocent man, in many ways, we stand more divided than ever.
I looked up to Charlie in many ways. The way he loved his country, how he spoke with love and compassion, how brilliant he was, how he loved his wife, and how he stood for his faith. The list could go on and on. He had this sort of high intensity that I desire to have in my life.
This intensity made him bold and honest. Charlie was ready to defend whatever it was he was debating, especially when it came to his love for and relationship with Jesus. Charlie was a genuine Christian in every area of this life, and he introduced Jesus into every political conversation he had. He was bold about it.
It was the type of intensity that if the Church had but a sliver of it, I believe it would erupt and there would be revival like we could never have comprehended. We would see Jesus move in radical ways, bringing about salvation and repentance.
But the question I want to ask is this… Is the Church going to allow this martyr to ignite a high intensity fire within our hearts, or will we be too afraid to see Jesus work and move, allowing the fire to burn at low intensity, until it’s smothered out with our weak, pathetic, four-walled comfort zones we call a “church”?
I know that may sound harsh, but If I’m being honest. I don’t care.
A man that I love and admire was killed, and in large part because the Church won’t get out of the seats we sit in every Sunday in order to confront these satanic ideologies. Instead, we sit and listen to a pastor preach from the book of John for a year and read the same verse from the letter of Jude every Sunday, as Satan himself takes over the world around us.
That’s mediocre Christianity at best, and I’m so tired of it. You’re either in or you’re out. There’s no one foot in, one foot out. It’s either Jesus or nothing. It’s not about left or right. It’s all about Jesus or Satan.
What are you going to choose?
Lilly shared a post with me that sounded about like this… “If your pastor doesn’t preach about Charlie Kirk and the very visible hand that Satan just showed, then find a new church. Cause if he doesn’t, then your pastor isn’t a war time pastor.”
Two innocent children were murdered by the hands of a trans lunatic, with writing on the gun as well as the ammunition about killing kids. An innocent woman was murdered on a train in Charlotte by a man who is clearly possessed by something demonic. Then, Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a kid who has been completely radicalized by the left. All within a couple weeks of each other.
There has been a shift we simply cannot fully and entirely comprehend.
The brutality of evil is ramping up. In our current times, evil is called good and good is called evil. Common sense seems to be nearly nonexistent.
Yet, we must praise the Lord for what He is doing in the midst of such sorrow and chaos. Since Erika Kirk spoke about her amazing husband, Turning Point USA has had approximately 57,000 requests for new chapters across the country. Charlie would be so proud.
However, my message to churches across the nation, to those requesting new chapters, to pastors, to schools, to all Christians, please, don’t give up.
We can’t just say, “This is our turning point”, and then do nothing. We must turn, repent, accept Jesus, and win this fight. Charlie always said, “Fight the good fight.” I believe we are. Yet, we must endure the hard times ahead and all of the battles in order to overcome this evil world we live in.
Our message to Turning Point USA and Mrs. Erika Kirk: We here at The Few are praying for you. We are devastated, but we are also inspired and empowered by the life Charlie lived. We will do whatever is necessary to further and grow this great movement.
