Happy September! August flew by, but it left us with some powerful reminders of how the Lord is at work in and through His people. Each week here at The Few, we dug into conversations that stirred our hearts, stretched our faith, and pointed us back to Jesus.
I love taking a moment at the start of a new month to look back at what we’ve created together, not just as a recap, but as a way to celebrate how God uses even the smallest offerings for His Kingdom. Whether you’re catching up or revisiting something that stuck with you, here’s everything we shared in August!
Our hope is that this will give you the opportunity to catch up on any podcast episodes, blog posts, and/or social media posts you might have missed, as well as be a post you can share with those you know who may be interested in reading and listening to the serious Christian content we strive to create!
Without further ado, here are a few favorites from the month of August…

AUGUST BLOG POSTS (OLDEST TO NEWEST)
A FEW FAVORITES FROM THE MONTH OF JULY 2025: https://thefew.blog/2025/08/07/a-few-favorites-from-the-month-of-july-2025/
Excerpt: Happy August! From celebrating a big podcast milestone (shoutout to our 20.5K+ downloads!) to tackling some deeper questions about spiritual fear, purpose, and obedience, July was anything but boring.
WHY JESUS ISN’T ASKING YOU TO “DO MORE”: https://thefew.blog/2025/08/14/why-jesus-isnt-asking-you-to-do-more/
Jesus isn’t asking you to do more, friend. Rest isn’t a sin, and I know there’s someone out there who needs to hear that just as much as I do. Fight the urge to always do more, you don’t have to constantly ask yourself if you’ve worked hard enough to rest.
DISCOVERING GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR SEASON OF SINGLENESS: https://thefew.blog/2025/08/21/discovering-gods-purpose-for-your-season-of-singleness/
Excerpt: Still, his words wouldn’t leave me. It is good to remain single, as I am. And then, something unexpected happened — I decided to take Paul at his word. What if our singleness is an advantage.

AUGUST PODCAST EPISODES (OLDEST TO NEWEST)
Here’s Why Christians Should Care About A Jeans Ad (Everything You Need To Know About Sydney Sweeney And American Eagle): https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/heres-why-christians-should-care-about-a-jeans-ad-everything-you-need-to-know-about-sydney-sweeney-american-eagle-s6ep13/
Episode Description: Are you ready to dive into the recent buzz around Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad, and why it matters more than you might think? We’re not here to nitpick denim or celebrities (okay, maybe just a little bit!). Instead, we explore how marketing subtly shapes our generation’s values, and why Christians should pay close attention to what’s being celebrated and sold in mainstream culture. From body image to identity, from influence to responsibility, this conversation will challenge you to think critically and biblically about what you consume, and what it’s consuming in you. Whether you’ve seen the ad or not, this is everything you NEED to know. Let’s get into it!
What Do Men And Women Really Need In Each Other? https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/what-do-men-and-women-really-need-in-each-other-s6ep14/
Episode Description: Did you know God designed guys and girls differently on purpose? In this episode, we’re talking about why women should be the temperature in a relationship, not the thermostat, and how it’s the man’s job to set the spiritual and emotional tone through godly leadership. But here’s the catch: women have to let their men lead in the way God intended, and men have to actually step up to lead well. We’re breaking down what men and women actually need from each other to thrive, how culture gets it wrong, and what it takes to build a relationship that’s healthy, Christ-centered, and future-proof. Let’s get into it!
How To Disciple In A Distracted Generation: https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/how-to-disciple-in-a-distracted-generation-s6ep15/
Episode Description: Let’s be real, shall we? Distractions are everywhere. Between TikTok, busy schedules, and the constant noise of culture, staying focused on Jesus feels harder than ever. So how in the world are we supposed to make disciples in a generation that can’t sit still for more than 10 seconds? In this episode, we get super practical about discipling in the middle of chaos. We discuss why discipleship has to be personal (not just another church program) and how to live out a faith that actually grabs attention. If you’re serious about making disciples, but feel overwhelmed by all the distractions, this episode will give you clarity, encouragement, and a few bold next steps. Let’s get into it!
The Minneapolis Shooting (What No One Wants To Talk About): https://afewminuteswiththefew.podbean.com/e/the-minneapolis-shooting-what-no-one-wants-to-talk-about-s6ep16/
Episode Description: What does the Transgenderism movement have to do with the devasting Minneapolis school shooting? In this episode, we answer that big question, along with many other problematic issues that have come to the light after this traumatic event. This was certainly not an easy episode to record, but we pray it reveals some of the enemy’s current ploys to corrupt lives and lead people astray spiritually. Let’s get into it.
