LET IT HAPPEN

From spontaneous coffee dates with dear friends, to bringing Lizzie (our puppy) home, to concerts where we worshiped our hearts out, to getting hired to do a job I absolutely love, to being loved and cared for by a man who is seeking Jesus; I had no control over any of these happenings. 12/30/24

EVERY GREAT STORY

You stand for a moment, and you wonder, how did I get here? How did my life go from this to that right before my eyes? There are days where you still can’t believe it, or you forget the last thing has happened for the last time. Your ears trick you into believing you can still hear the jingle of dog tags hanging from a red and black checkered collar. Your mind still asks you what you’ll wear to church in the morning, because someone is always a little overzealous with the air conditioning. You wonder how many people will be in Sunday school that morning since this person and that person are on vacation or visiting family.

AIR BRAKES AND DEEP THOUGHTS

Something the Lord has been convicting me of a lot lately is what I’m consuming my mind with. What I’m watching, reading, listening to, thinking about. Most of us want to ignore the way Jesus is really supposed to affect all these aspects of our lives, and we want to believe He’s only supposed to help us with the “big” things.
