CHAOTIC CORNERS

This thing is supposed to look different. But here’s the thing… We take Jesus and put Him into our lives where we think He needs to be. We don’t allow Him to insert Himself. We don’t want Him to, because we have everything we think we need in our little chaotic corners of the world. 2/12/26

A FEW FAVORITES FROM THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2026

Happy February! January always feels like a threshold month, the deep breath before the year really gets moving. It’s when intentions turn into habits, prayers become practice, and we start to see what the Lord might be inviting us into for the months ahead. For us here at The Few, January was full of honest conversations, stretching topics, and content that pushed us to slow down and live with greater discernment, especially with our 30-Day Community Fast! 2/5/26

COLLAPSE AT THE FEET OF JESUS

We all have a tendency to walk away from Jesus. It is our natural inclination to say, “I’m good Jesus, I’ll take it from here.” I believe, that as men, we have a greater tendency to do this. However, truly collapsing at Jesus’ feet and giving your life to Him is the true meaning behind being “a man.” 1/22/26

TWENTY-SIX THINGS CHRISTIANS SHOULD DO IN 2026

2026 is here, and with it comes the question we ask ourselves every year: How do we actually live as Christians in a world that rarely makes space for Jesus? At The Few, we’ve been thinking about this a lot, and over the years, we’ve learned that spiritual growth isn’t about doing everything perfectly, it’s about doing the things that matter, consistently, even when no one is watching. 1/15/26

LET IT HAPPEN

From spontaneous coffee dates with dear friends, to bringing Lizzie (our puppy) home, to concerts where we worshiped our hearts out, to getting hired to do a job I absolutely love, to being loved and cared for by a man who is seeking Jesus; I had no control over any of these happenings. 1/8/26

THANK YOU, DEAR READERS

Blogmas has never been about productivity for us. It has always been about presence. About carving out space in a noisy season to remember why the Light came, why hope still matters, and why faithfulness, especially the unseen kind, is never, ever wasted. And the fact that you chose to walk through this season with us, is something we do not take lightly. 1/1/26

HOLY SUBTRACTION (BLOGMAS DAY THIRTY-ONE 2025)

I’ve always been fascinated by this verse, as it doesn’t call us to pile on the goals and new year’s resolutions. We aren’t asked to do 100 things. Nope. Just one. “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness…” It actually calls us to holy subtraction. 12/31/25

O COME (BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY-SEVEN 2025)

When we celebrate Christmas, we celebrate the mystery that God has become one of us – so that He could save us from the curse of sin and death, giving us new life as the children of God. And as the song’s refrain invites us to sing, “O come, let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.” 12/27/25

JOY OR HAPPINESS? (BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY-SIX 2025)

So, this year I want to look like that on Dec. 26th and on Dec. 27th and all the days to come. I want people to see my joy is found in Jesus; not in the temporary things of this world. I want it to be so contagious they just can't help but get a little Jesus on them. 12/26/25

BEFORE THE FLOOD (BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY 2025)

As we made our way through the Ark, there were various rooms full of biblical and historical facts which presented boldly and clearly the truth about God’s cleansing of the world. However, there was one spot that stood out to me the most. Let me tell you that after walking through it and seeing all of the depictions… It seemed too familiar. 12/20/25

EVERY ENCOUNTER, A CHANCE (BLOGMAS DAY EIGHT 2025)

Brothers and sisters, I also say to you, especially during this Christmas season, every encounter you have with another person, family, friend, co-worker, stranger, is a chance to improve their quality of life. You have the Good News; the simple Gospel, that WILL change the course of every person’s life and death. Every encounter is a chance. 12/8/25

WHY GRATITUDE IS A SPIRITUAL DIAGNOSTIC

Gratitude is more than a warm feeling you cultivate during Thanksgiving week. It’s spiritual warfare against idolatry. It’s a declaration of who you belong to. And it’s one of the clearest mirrors you have for seeing who you are really worshiping. 11/20/25

DEATH AS A DARE

Over the past month, death has been a prominent topic of consideration in my life. When Charlie Kirk was assassinated, the grief and inspiration I felt mingled together within me was nothing short of indescribable. While his death was tragic, it held with it a question. 10/16/25

SOME UNRIGHTEOUS GRAND ASSAULT

So, even amidst such evil and this unrighteous grand assault, we are witnessing incredible growth as the Gospel is being preached more boldly and more clearly than it has been in quite some time. Of course, any logical thinker is then forced to ask the simple question, “Why?” 10/9/25

A WORLD WITHOUT…

Christmas may be over, but we have been reminded once again of our calling. To be that hope that Jesus showed us how to be. To be joyful in a world so sad. To be the love that people seek. To be the light that can never be dimmed. 12/27/24

FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

In this moment, I knew I had to stand strong, ignore whatever fears the enemy may tempt me with, and be bold in that courtroom. I had no idea what I was going to say walking in there, but I had a strange sense of peace. It was like the Lord was speaking directly through me, I had no idea what was happening, but because of my faith and obedience the Lord was able to do what I thought was impossible. 11/14/24

THE ART OF OBSERVING, NOT ABSORBING

My challenge for us, as true Believers, is to cultivate the art of observation. Let us intently study our world and the people within it. Let us educate ourselves about worldviews and religions. Let us understand how the enemy is presently deceiving lost souls regarding policies and politics.

A DIFFERENT CLOSENESS

One thing I have realized is that though this is a different closeness than the one I experienced a couple months ago, it is still closeness. Before, it was as though the Lord and I were walking calmly hand in hand, smiling at each other as we both walked into the plan He set up. Now, we’re bent over, head-to-head, our sweat is mingled together, we wear each other’s blood, and I keep asking the same question again and again.
