Judas, on the other hand, ran back to the Temple, to the Priests, to the old way of doing things, begging for forgiveness that they could not grant. “I have sinned, he said, for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us? they replied. That is your responsibility.” (Matthew 27: 4). 4/1/26
QUIETLY DECIDED (PASSION WEEK 2026)
Now, I can see Matthew, sitting opposite Jesus, a campfire between them on their journey, and this encounter filling his thoughts. How could he see Jesus as anyone but the only person to defend his dignity? As the only one to know the dark truth of what Matthew had chosen and still offer him a seat at His Passover table. 3/31/26
THE SUFFERING SERVANT (PASSION WEEK 2026)

FOR THOSE WHO REFUSE TO RUSH EASTER
Before we begin releasing new Passion Week posts starting on Palm Sunday, we wanted to give you the opportunity to revisit some of our past writings. These pieces have challenged us, shaped us, and helped us see Jesus more clearly, and our prayer is that they would do the same for you. 3/26/26
REMEMBER. REPENT. RESPOND.
I would encourage you to really concentrate on honoring this Lenten season well. It should be more than merely giving up a certain food or making a charitable donation. Those are good things if done with the right heart and with a focus on drawing closer to Christ, but we can, and should, go deeper still. 2/19/26
