A CHRISTMAS HYMN (BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY-ONE 2025)

Happy Sunday, everyone! We are so grateful you are here, reading and interacting with our Blogmas posts. Enjoy this Christmas hymn, written by Rend Collective! We sang it in church this morning and it was encouragement to us. We hope it is also an encouragement to you this evening. 12/21/25

BEFORE THE FLOOD (BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY 2025)

As we made our way through the Ark, there were various rooms full of biblical and historical facts which presented boldly and clearly the truth about God’s cleansing of the world. However, there was one spot that stood out to me the most. Let me tell you that after walking through it and seeing all of the depictions… It seemed too familiar. 12/20/25

CONSIDER YOUR PREPAREDNESS (BLOGMAS DAY NINETEEN 2025)

I’ll confess that the older I’ve become, the more grateful I am for Amazon. Online purchasing is a lot easier and less stressful than making the annual pilgrimage to all the stores. However, my goal in this short little article is to have you, the reader, consider your preparedness, not for Christmas, but for the second coming of Christ. 12/19/25

YOUR RECLAMATION (BLOGMAS DAY FIFTEEN 2025)

Reclamation requires us to turn away from worldly things and focus on inward things; to recollect the past and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in discovering the good there that can be used for our healing. At the heart of our reclamation is a return to our soul’s relationship with God as our maker, and as the keeper of our past, present, and future. 12/15/25

COME TO THE KING (BLOGMAS DAY TWELVE 2025)

You see, when we decide to come to the King Jesus, the one true King, there will be Herods that rise up within us and around us. Things that you may not picture as your King, but you have personally placed them on the thrones of your life. And they will do anything to retain their position; they will muster up every weapon they have and try to defeat you coming to King Jesus. 12/12/25

ROOM TO REST (BLOGMAS DAY TEN 2025)

As my mind lingered on that wondrous night long ago in a Bethlehem stable, the image of the swaddled baby resting in a manger stayed with me. He was just here. Nothing else mattered in that moment. Instead of doing a bunch of things you think will bring about blessings and Christmas-y feelings, the reality is blessings and miracles already surround us. Jesus is already here. He’s in you and me, always. 12/10/25

EVERY ENCOUNTER, A CHANCE (BLOGMAS DAY EIGHT 2025)

Brothers and sisters, I also say to you, especially during this Christmas season, every encounter you have with another person, family, friend, co-worker, stranger, is a chance to improve their quality of life. You have the Good News; the simple Gospel, that WILL change the course of every person’s life and death. Every encounter is a chance. 12/8/25

A DEAD MAN WALKING (BLOGMAS DAY SIX 2025)

Scott has accepted Jesus, and I praise the Lord for that because if it wasn’t for Scott being a dead man walking and dying to himself and accepting Jesus, my life would be very different. I’d be a dead man walking; walking a mile straight to Hell. 12/6/25

WHO IN THE WORLD WAS THE FIRST NOEL? (BLOGMAS DAY FIVE 2025)

I mean really. This is not sitting in a warm cabin in front of the fire. These are the 3rd shift working guys. They're outside, in the field, watching a bunch of dirty sheep. There's no pomp and stature here man. These are the guys getting the job done in a less than inviting environment. And here comes the first noel. 12/5/25

THE GIFT I FINALLY GAVE JESUS THIS YEAR: EVERYTHING (BLOGMAS DAY THREE 2025)

As this Christmas season approaches, I want to challenge you to do more than simply go through the motions—attending church services, joining Bible studies, or listening to the classic Christmas songs without truly reflecting on their meaning. Really dig into your Bible; read it, study it, and seek to truly understand it. Pray for the strength to completely surrender whatever is weighing you down. 12/3/25

EVIL CAN NEVER BE BIRTHED (BLOGMAS DAY TWO 2025)

We must ensure that evil can never be birthed merely by our inaction. For inaction is what darkness craves most. A people easily conquered are a people plagued by indecision and lack of conviction. As you set out to celebrate Christmas, understand that every decision you make has the power to expand or shrink the darkness around you. 12/2/25
