Blogmas has never been about productivity for us. It has always been about presence. About carving out space in a noisy season to remember why the Light came, why hope still matters, and why faithfulness, especially the unseen kind, is never, ever wasted. And the fact that you chose to walk through this season with us, is something we do not take lightly. 1/1/26
So, this year I want to look like that on Dec. 26th and on Dec. 27th and all the days to come. I want people to see my joy is found in Jesus; not in the temporary things of this world. I want it to be so contagious they just can't help but get a little Jesus on them. 12/26/25
As we enter this new year together, though it may be littered with uncertainty and we may feel trepidation, what awaits us may in fact be beauty, respite, and life. Whatever lies ahead, we shall face the growing dawn with clean swords, thick armor, and hearts confident in one thing. 12/31/24
Jesus, Lord at thy birth. Absolutely. Will you believe it completely and act like it this Christmas? I say yes and amen. Let’s go all in with this Jesus, Christmas, born to save us from our sin, miracle. 12/18/24

As much as I would like to pat Christians on the back and tell them it’s perfectly fine to retreat when the days are dark and evil, I can’t. We may be living in a post Roe America, and praise the Lord for it, but it is in large part due to the five Justice’s that didn’t go stick their heads in the sand and ignore this crucial, heartbreaking, unlawful issue. Now it is up to us to continue the fight, to advance the Kingdom, to be beacons of light in our little corners of the world.
When we pray, we let the enemy know that we believe the Lord can help us. The Lord knows what’s on our hearts, but through prayer, we remind the Devil who’s really got the power.
I have spent most of my life wondering where all the good leaders are. The sorts of leaders you read books and watch movies about, who rouse a complacent group of people into powerful action, who prompt brainwashed people to throw off the chains of their oppressors, who change entire generations of people. Where are the Aragorn’s, the Gandalf’s, the Atticus Finch’s, the Hank Busche’s, and the Marshall Hogan’s of the world? Can they really only be found in fiction?Â
